History
Started in 1926, City Blue
Print Company specialized in architectural and construction printing
services, such as blueprinting and photography. City Blue Print Company
merged with R.A. Ellis in 1993. R.A. Ellis produced digital imaging,
precision photography and large color graphics for ad agencies, printers,
and corporate marketing departments. In 2005 City Blue purchased the
offset printing company Classic Image Associates. All three companies
are located at our 16,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art printing facility
at 68 Scio St. in Downtown Rochester.
Mission Statement
Our goal is to be the most comprehensive imaging service bureau, providing complete large and small format engineering, offset and digital printing locally as well as nationally.
We will meet or exceed our customers expectations. We will achieve that by providing convenient, quick turnaround service using a highly trained and experienced staff, utilizing the latest in digital technology along with proven traditional methods.
Beliefs
City Blue Imaging traces our
origins back to 1926 when the company primarily made blueprints and
was called City Blue Print Company.
Since our inception, City Blue has taken great pride in remaining on the cutting edge of growth within the print and imaging industry. Today we offer a vast portfolio of products and services including digital and offset printing. The mainstay of our success has been and will always be our commitment to being a premium service company. Meeting and exceeding the expectations of our customers by providing best in class service is our daily focus.
We recognize and respect that there are many printing options within our region. We thrive, however, on the challenge of distinguishing ourselves by making service to our customers our number one priority. And we will continue to do so for the next 80 years!
